11.11.11

“Luck be a lady tonight” … sing it Blue Eyes!!

for some, 11.11.11 could feel like the LUCKIEST day of them all

i wouldnt really consider myself superstitious, but i def am one of those people who yell out “MAKE A WISH!” whenever the clock reads 11:11

so today – of all days – i began to wonder… WHY do we do THAT?!

surprisingly, there’s a whole slew of answers out there

this is def the funniest one i found, this person thinks they invented it! –>
“I think it was from me. We used to do that when the digital clock showed 11:11 because it was the time my daughter was born. We’d make ” ” signs with our fingers and make a wish. I started doing it with my high school classes when I was a teacher and then all the kids did it.”

some other’s that made the cut–>
its origins are from the Mayan people. their 26,000 year-old calendar officially ends on December 21, 2012 at 11:11. this date marks a re-birth of our world according to the Mayans

if you see 11:11, this may be another clue that you are here to advance the concept of “we are all one” across the world

a person who sees the synchronicity in coincidence, usually through the repeated observance of the time and number, 11:11 (1111), though other numbers can be substituted for fixation

there were 12 apostles. one of them betrayed the Lord. he committed suicide. then there were 11, who went on to become the first missionaries – the number 11 is the number of the apostles who carried on the work after the resurrection of the Lord

it came from the bible, it’s a verse

seeing 11:11 on the clock is a wake up call or a reminder that you are a Lightworker. Lightworkers have a mission in this lifetime to hold as much light for the planet as possible; in essence raising the frequency of love and one-ness on Earth

the one i’m going with–>
it was just something they learned on the playground, or from a random relative, or through word of mouth

which one do YOU think it is, or do you have a theory of your own?! please SHARE!!

WOW, crazy you should write about this today. I just ran out to pick some things up at the store and when I started my car the clock read 11:11. I thought to myself, how lucky could I be 11:11 on 11/11/11. Then I thought again and said to myself, “yes I am, in many many ways”. And further more how thankful I am, so a BIG THANK YOU goes to our Veterans today.
