>pot makin goodness

what do youuuuu plan on doing this weekend?!
besides the obvious futbol americano brainwashing :0)

in addition to making some tasty goodness for our superbowl par-tay,

i’ve got some pot making on my plate!!
i know youre jealous

i picked up this kewl little contraption from here at the end of the fall when there was a sale going on with free shipping… how could you refuse free shipping?! of course i’ll buy more items just to qualify for it!

supplies needed:
news paper or an old phone book

AND the cute lil wooden guy

the easy coupla steps:

you take a 3″ by 12″ piece of newspaper or phone book,
wrap it around the wooden spool

tuck under the ends,
stick it on the ‘ender’ (very technical terms here) and twist a couple of times
taadaaaaaaaa (like Wall-E)

you have your very own, home made, biodegradable, starter pots!

get your seeds started early indoors (with a grow light if you have one) instead of waiting for the last frost to pass over… who knows when that will be with mother nature seeking revenge on the north east this winter!!

when your plants have grown big enough to stick in the ground, you can put them right into the soil with the paper pot in tact, and they’re going to grow up to be the perttiest plants on the block

one down… about 100 to go!

i told you – big, BIG plans for the garden this year… first up, the beets
and no, im not talking about the band from Doug Funny – Killer Tofuuuuuuuuu!
